Alexis specializes in guiding teenagers (ages: 15+), adults, couples and families through life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and personality disorders. She prioritizes building and maintaining an alliance with her clients. The therapeutic modalities Alexis utilizes but are not limited to are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma Focused therapy to further a client’s growth. Alexis' areas of interest included but are not limited to issues of body-image, Women's mental health, child and adolescent development, and relationships. She is skilled in providing supportive guidance through childhood trauma, grief and loss, life transitions/adjustments, and behavioral health related disorders.

Alexis has extensive experience in working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. Alexis currently offers both in-person therapy sessions and online distance counseling sessions. Distance counseling can be beneficial for those who have barriers that prevent them from attending in-person office appointments.
